So, the highlight of the week is that the Perez family was baptized. They are wonderful people and I was very pleased to be able to help them prepare to be baptized. However, there is still much to be done with them because they are a bit slow in understanding certain things and live far away from the chapel, and the last thing we want is that they stop attending just because they didn't fully understand the Restoration. Especially because the local pastors are already working on them. I don't have photos yet because my mission leader has them and hasn't sent them to me.
We have got some other very positive investigators that have the necessary attendances, but for a diversity of reasons, they haven't accepted baptismal dates yet. Nonetheless, they are still attending and with the help of the members and the holy spirit well get them in the water.
This week I was able to learn a lot about charity. I honestly believe that the "pure love of Christ" is the most important attribute of our Savior that we should strive to obtain. Until we are able to see through Christ's eyes, we will never be able to overcome the hatred and ignorance that surrounds us. Love others as Christ loves you. The Church is true. Love yall.
