Zoom Zoom

This week went by like a flash. We found a very positive family that wants to be baptized... in the first lesson we had the opportunity to give a blessing to the mother and everyone present felt the spirit. We are hoping to get them in the water by the 26th.

The young men we are teaching are also very positive, but it looks like it might be a bit tough to get permission in order to baptize them.

We have been having a tough time finding new investigators, especially because the members are a bit dead right now, but we are trying to get a bit more spark into them so that they start giving us referrals and teaching with us.

Today was a great p-day because we went on a hike and visited 4 beautiful waterfalls. They are very far away and are only visited by the locals, therefore there wasn't much of a trail and we had to do some bushwacking to get our way around. We went with some members and their friends (non-members) which was great. One of the guys that went with us said that close to the falls there is a cave with Mayan carvings in it... we are planning on going one of these p-days.

The Church is true and Guatemala is great!
